Keeping you up to date with all things off the track
Equestrian Hub and Life After Racing
Our passion for all horses great and small is what drives the Equestrian Hub team – and one of our aims is to advocate for the successful transitioning of retired racehorses into new homes and fulfilling new careers.
From show jumping, eventing, dressage and show ring stars, to therapy horses, trail companions and everything in between, ex-racehorses excel at it all. Browse through the Life After Racing stories in Equestrian Hub Magazine, and you’ll quickly realise just how adaptable and versatile these remarkable equine athletes are.
Our Aims
Australia’s racing industry is one of the largest in the world, and we are committed to supporting the retraining and rehoming of both Thoroughbred and
Standardbred off the track (OTT) horses. In order to achieve this, we work towards:
1. Increasing the demand for OTTs as both pleasure and performance horses by showcasing their strengths, abilities and versatility.
2. Offering information on the care and training of OTTs.
3. Promoting the availability of OTTs who have been retrained and are ready to move on to the next chapter in their lives.
4. Promoting the retrainers, organisations, and retraining programs dedicated to improving OTT horse welfare.
Your contribution helps us promote the people and organisations making a difference
