The Saddle Hub primarily sells saddles on consignment.  If you wish us to sell your saddle for you we list, promote, manage enquiries and then receive the money for your saddle, forwarding the money to your bank account once the sale is finalised.  We charge a listing fee and a commission that varies according to the price bracket in which your saddles sits.

People have different theories on the best way to package a saddle. Our preference is to package them into a removalist carton, these are nice and sturdy and the saddle travels well in them. Place some bubble wrap in the bottom, wrap some bubble wrap around the cantle and put the saddle in – pommel down. If your saddle has a cover, put the wrap inside the cover as it helps hold it in place.

Removalist cartons are available from removalists, Bunnings, independent hardware stores or packaging specialists.

Your saddle must come back from the trial in exactly the same condition as it was dispatched, otherwise there is no refund.  For this reason it is necessary for all marks to be recorded on the paperwork you submit to us, as well as supporting images.

We cannot promise to find a new home for your saddle but we do our best to ensure this happens.  We promote the saddles widely and list on websites other than our own. We will keep you updated as often as possible and you we are more than happy to chat to you and provide updates whenever you need.

You are welcome to put an offer for a lower price and choose to waive the trial period.  The Saddle Hub will contact the owner and advise if they are happy with the price you have offered.

Yes, we are asked to purchase dozens of saddles per week, although this is not what our business aims to achieve. We want to offer a service in matching buyers and sellers that is impartial and only offers the best solution when we are talking to a prospective buyer.

Our magazine is a bi-monthly magazine with 6 annual releases. 

The first covers January and February,and is released in the first week of a month.

The Equestrian Hub Mentoring Program is for talented & passionate equestrians, who need help to improve their skills to take them to the next level. We aim to encourage and support riders committed to achieving their best, and helping them reach their goals and beyond.

It is intended to help equestrians of all ages and abilities move closer to their dreams, providing motivation to recipients to help them remove any barriers that may be holding them back from achieving their goals.

Offering the winners the opportunity to be coached by professionals they may not otherwise have access to, offering a selection of Mentors for ongoing support and receiving products and gear all help towards stepping up to the next level, closer to their goals.

The winner will be able to choose a mentor from our mentor program to help guide them on their journey over a 6 month period. They will also receive fortnightly lessons with a local coach of their choice, the opportunity to travel to and meet with and shadow their Mentor for a day, a nutritional assessment from KER, receive a quality saddlepad with the current sponsors logos and various products, saddlery and/or tack as the sponsors may offer. The winner will also receive profile exposure to the Equestrian Hub audience through regular updates we publish.  At its core, the prize is customised for the needs of the individual recipient to help improve their skills to take them to the next level.

The Equestrian Hub Mentorship is for talented & passionate equestrians, 18+ years old of any skill level, who need help to improve their skills to take them to the next level.

We charge a flat standard shipping rate of $60 on each saddle shipped Australia wide.

Printed magazines are free to ship.

Smaller items purchased with a saddle (ie belts, saddle pads etc) will not incur additional shipping charges, and will be included in the saddle flat fee shipping charge.

Smaller items purchased without a saddle will be charged at a flat fee, depending on the size of the item, and this will added to your purchase at checkout.

Our shipping categories are as below:

Small = $12.95

Medium = $20

Large = $50

If you purchase multiple items without a saddle, you will only ever be charged one amount, which is the highest shipping class in your order ie. 2 x small items + 1 medium item = only 1 x medium shipping cost will be charged.

You can find your active subscription in the Subscription tab in your ‘my account’ when logged in. You can choose to upgrade from there if you wish.
If you do not know your password you can reset it to access your account details.
All saddles sold through The Saddle Hub come with a two week trial to ensure both horse and rider are happy, unless specifically excluded.  To take a saddle on a trial the Purchaser must pay full cost of saddle prior to the saddle being released.

Should the saddle not be suitable, this amount, less all freight charges, a $30 administration fee, and merchant services fees (if applicable), will be refunded after a MAXIMUM of a two week trial. The purchaser will be liable for the freight costs of transporting the saddle, as well as return charges if saddle is deemed unsuitable by them, we are happy to organise the return freight for you.  Refunds will only be processed after we have received the saddle back into our care.

Freight is charged at a flat fee of $60 one way, including insurance to anywhere within Australia. It may be necessary, for very remote areas, to organise for your saddle to be shipped to an address or courier depot at a nearby town.

If saddle is deemed unsuitable by the purchaser it must be returned in the same condition as when forwarded to purchaser, this includes but is not limited to: no adjustments, no markings, all of the same mountings. If the saddle has incurred any damage of any kind the Purchaser will forfeit the return guarantee offered during the trial period.
