Description
Matey is an exceptionally well-bred, naturally talented horse who is ready to be your next superstar. He has potential to be a successful high-level eventer or showjumper.
Sired by Check In, Matey shows good jumping technique. His jump is athletic and scopey, however it is the effortless and natural aspect which is most attractive. He is currently schooling 1m+ at home with ease. Matey is nice on the flat, with loose, balanced paces. Based on his limited eventing outings, he is always very competitive in the dressage phase.
Matey is very well schooled with all the basics and fundamentals well established. Whilst he has had limited competition outings, he has been to numerous clinics and training days. He is ridden in a snaffle bit for all three phases.
Matey is a very exciting horse for a serious rider. However, he is still quite green so is not suited to a beginner rider. Regretful sale due to owners’ university commitments.
